Take a Tour is Softune’s in-app guided walkthrough. It uses a spotlight overlay so you can see the real UI while Softune explains each stop. Controls are Skip, Back, and Next. Softune never auto-starts the tour.
How to launch the tour
- 1. Sign in to the Softune dashboard for your store
- 2. Find Take a Tour at the bottom of the left sidebar
- 3. Click Take a Tour once — the spotlight overlay appears
- 4. Use Next to advance, Back to revisit, or Skip to exit early
What the tour covers
Dashboard Menu stops
The tour walks the main Menu items — Dashboard through Add-Ons — so you know where Categories, Products, Orders, Analytics, Themes, Customers, Courier, and Payments live without memorizing a map.
Theme editor stop
The tour continues into the theme editor to introduce its tools rail (Brand, Colors, Header, Pages, Sections) and the live preview. After those stops, Softune returns you to the dashboard context.
Softune remembers that you have seen the tour so it does not nag you. You can still click Take a Tour again whenever you want a refresher — including for a new teammate looking over your shoulder.
When to run it again
- After a long break from Softune
- When onboarding staff who will use Themes or Orders
- After Softune adds new sidebar areas you have not explored
